New AVP for Supply Chain Appointed

Mr. Eduardo A. Sahagun, UGC President and CEO, recently announced the appointment of Mr. Robert James G. Pabustan as Assistant Vice president – Supply Chain, effective August 15, 2017.

James’ joined PHINMA, Inc. in 2006, as Manager in Strategic Planning, under PHINMA Inc.’s Office of the Chief Strategy Officer. He was then promoted to Assistant Vice President, Strategic Planning in 2009.

In 2011, James assumed the role of AVP – Treasurer when PHINMA embarked on a partnership with Ayala Corporation through PHINMA Energy and formed South Luzon Thermal Energy Corporation. 

Upon reaching commercial operations of the power plant project on April 2015, James was then assigned as AVP in PHINMA Treasury Group.

Prior to joining PHINMA, he has had accumulative ten-year work experience in various capacities in the field of corporate finance, corporate planning and business development through the stock exchange, investment house, telecommunication and retail petroleum companies.

James obtained his degree in Master in Business Administration, major in Finance from the Asian Institute of Management. His college background is AB Humanities, with specialization in Business Administration from the University of Asia and the Pacific.
