Corporate Social Responsibility

We are reaching out. Hand in hand, taking the first step, planting the seeds of better lives for the future. Making the first move to help, build and recognize its responsibilities in society.

This is Union Galvasteel Corporation's S.E.E.D. program, a corporate social responsibility campaign that spans four areas of concern: SHELTER, ENVIRONMENT, EDUCATION and DISASTER RESPONSE.

Union Galvasteel Corporation is true to its commitment to make lives better, using the S.E.E.D program to reach out and help the local communities where it operates. The company is set to expand and continue to provide towns and cities everywhere with the UGC brand of compassion and Filipino hospitality to create a sense of national pride in community-building.

UGC takes pride in rebuilding and uplifting communities through the construction of numerous waiting sheds and facilities. In 2016, UGC helped build seven Barangay Outposts and waiting sheds in Laguna, Batangas and San Simon Elementary School in Cagayan De Oro, it also replaced the roofs of the Missionaries of Charity center in Davao City. These projects help in creating more spaces for shelter, and provide support for the beneficiary communities.
